A day at this beautiful beach
The sand is pristine and the colours wonderful of the sea and lush green foliage of the coconut trees. However, on our visit the red flags were out and so one was allowed only to paddle basically to stay safe. A pity, I’m not sure how frequently bathing is restricted and how to check this out on line. You normally get here by trike which is fine but the road is partially a track only so be warned you’ll be in for a bumpy ride.

Beautiful beach but lots of vendors
Beautiful place to spend a day relaxing, the view is unbelievable and you can hire a sun lounger for the day if you turn right when you walk onto the beach. Prepare yourself for the constant flow of vendors trying to sell you something, if that sort of thing bothers you when you’re sunbathing. You pay a small tourist entry fee and get some vouchers for free food/drinks on the beach when you go, we took a tricycle from El Nido up to Nacpan and agreed to meet our driver at 3pm for him to take us back again which was unexpected but nice to not have to worry about how we would get back. Probably spent about 5 hours there, it was surprising to us that the beach wasn’t overcrowded considering how many tourists were in El Nido but maybe we got lucky that day. Was also amused that, when checking for public wifi, the only (private) networks were “No wifi, enjoy the beach” and “Offline”. Very true!! Worth the trip!
