Sunset at Las Cabañas
It takes about a 5-7 minute walk from Maremegmeg beach club and beach shack to reach Las Cabañas and oh boy is it worth the hike! The view of the sunset from here is nothing short of spectacular as it is located at the very tip of the island! The view of the bay is more than 180 degrees from here which makes it even more fantastic. There is a newly opened beach bar aptly named Sunset at Las Cabañas serving Mexican fare - tacos, quesadillas and such. Their cocktails are a pleasant surprise as they use only premium liquor. Happy hour drinks are half the price and you get priceless views.

The Sunset at Las Cabanas - great service, perfect view, decent food
This review is for the Sunset at Las Cabanas - at the very end of the strip. They had a perfect view of the sunset settling by the mountain islands (or rock mountains I am not quite sure) and the sea. It was a perfect place to have some quiet dinner date or relaxed hang out with your friends. Unfortunately, it was cloudy during our visit so we didn’t get to take a photo of the actual sunset. For the service, I have no complains. They are very attentive, very friendly, and very quick. They even offered taking our picture by the beach since they noticed that my partner and I are struggling to take good selfies. For the food, it was pretty decent. We ordered (i forgot the official name but here is the closest i can compare it with) lechon kawali with mexican rice and patatas bravas. For the drinks - beer (corona) and mango shake. I wouldn’t say it was top quality but it’s not bad as well. Will definitely come back for a great overall experience!

Beautiful beach
I would keep walking around the corners the father you walk the more isolated and beautiful. We even saw some monkeys. Good place to watch the sunset and watch the zipliners quite high up above the ocean. Pretty close to town so worth a few hours.
