This is a 45-50 minute pontoon boat trip which departs from the boat ramp at the Desoto Falls parking lot. It is a quiet and pleasant ride up the river from the falls. Our boat pilot was Tony's father who gave us a lot of the history of the area and information about the homes that overlooked the river. The adults and the kids enjoyed the trip. There is a canopy on the boat, but you will need sunscreen as it does not give complete coverage for everyone. Insect repellent is also recommended.See more..
