    May Prairie Natural Area image
The 250-acre May Prairie is a recognized National Natural Landmark located near Manchester, Coffee County , Tennessee. The one-mile loop trail is a bit finicky but sufficient for exercise. The mosquito’s were more than plentiful during the time of our visit but overall is a nice little prairie and swamp area worth visiting at least once. After turning off U.S. 41 be sure to watch carefully for the small parking area which is on the right side of Asbury Road as it is not prominently marked. See more..
