5km husky ride at twilight
Rami and his team were fantastic and very welcoming. It was evident that they cared about their huskies and they were natural hosts which made the whole experience amazing for all of us. The weather on our trip was stunning but absolutely freezing (painfully so) meaning we did not wish for more than the 5km and were really glad to retreat to their hut and camp fires! In warmer weather a longer ride might be preferable but we had a great time. (4x adults)

You made our Holiday !
Have just returned from our Lapland adventure , and this tour certainly made it for us ! We stayed at the Hotel Saaga , in Yllas . And before we went we decided to do our homework . We decided to email them directly and book a tour . We went for the 23 km Safari , and wow ... What an experience ! The price for about a four hour tour was €149 per person . We took a taxi from the hotel in Yllas and I would say it was around 15 mins top to Ramis Huskies station at a cost of €30 each way .. We arrived and was warmly met by the staff , very friendly and hospitable .... They make sure you are well prepared by looking at your clothing , as they have had people just turn up in jeans . They will clothe you if you need any layers , but it would be easier to mail them with your sizes . We was already clothed , so declined ....The tempature was -26 and we was warm with our choice . We met with Sari , and what a fantastic lady , kind and informative .. She introduced us to our guide , a young lady who was so experienced with her dogs that it made our trip so smooth . We was took out into the national park , the scenery was out of this world . Ramis huskies are the only dog sledging team allowed in the National park near Yllas . If you do the huskies with a tour group they use other teams up to an hour away by coach . We spoke to some friends at the hotel and as they was in a large group they did not get much time with the huskies on scheduled tours . Would definitely choose this company again ... Total cost for 2 adults was €298 ( 26th December 2014 ) ... For the 23 km safari ..... Thank you all at Ramis for a perfect Christmas .......

Fantastic husky safari
We recently went on the10km Safari having seen the excellent reviews and booked well ahead. It was such a wonderful experience for us as a family of four. It really felt like a personal experience and you could see that Rami cared a lot about the well being of the huskies and the safety of those on the safari. The scenery was breathtaking and was one of the highlights of our Christmas in Lapland. Thank you also to Sari who dealt with our booking efficiently and was prompt to respond to any questions
