Impressive and unique
The Kingsport Carousel Project began in 2008 and has now involved around 400 volunteers from Kingsport and many surrounding communities. Volunteers have worked tirelessly with the goal of creating and operating a carousel for Kingsport. The Carousel features hand-carved wooden animals and chariots and original paintings on a refurbished/rebuilt 1956 Herschell frame. Rides=$1

Not just for kids
The Kingsport Carousel is so much more than a regular carousel. It is so much fun to ride AND it is a moving work of art. The animals are hand carved and painted. It is beautiful. When you go, don't just jump on and ride. Stop and look closely at all it has on it. I have ridden it several times and, I swear, I see something new every time. This isn't just for children. It's fun to ride on pretty days and anytime you want to turn that frown upside down.

Merri Go Round
good place to take your little ones, also a place to go and remember when you were young. Can have birthday Party's, take pictures for fun, graduation even weddings. Does cost to ride and hold activities. Has a outside playground as well. Close to area restaurants and downtown
