    We followed the hakokosken hujaus trail. It was clearly marked with yellow dots every other tree so very easy to follow. The path was easy too apart from a couple of steep parts that were doable with just a little effort. We saw a woodpecker, reindeer and beautiful lake views.     Just great scenery to gorge. Very well guided hiking paths, not suitable if you are physically disabled, but paths aren't too difficult. Some stairs and broadwalks are broken and replaced at summer 2020. Easy to find, less than hour drive from Sotkamo adress is Hiidenportintie 86, it takes you to Palolampi parking place. Parking place turns left. End of the road is gravel. See more..
