Run Don't Walk to Untamed

This is an outstanding winery. The wines are made from California grapes. We found the quality of the wines to be among the best in the area. A tasting of either 4 whites or 4 reds was $30. The majority of the wines were ones that we enjoyed enough to buy bottles. Tom as the host was very friendly and informative. Our appetizer and pizza were both very tasty and worth the visit on their own. This place is highly recommended.

Lovely new winery!
We loved this new winery the moment we came through the doors. The facility is beautiful, the staff is friendly and accommodating, the wine is great, and the food is delicious! Tom J Thomas guided us through our tasting with patience and expertise… The owners came by to welcome us as well. They have put much thought into making this a boutique winery and to be very hospitable. We will be back!

Wonderful new winery in Fredericksburg
We were at one of our regular wineries but looking for someplace different in Fredericksburg and asked for recommendations. The server suggested Untamed - a new place with a South African theme, good wines and awesome pizzas. We took him up on that, and we were not disappointed. The wines were very good and the pizza was fantastic. However, it was the people that really made this an experience that we are going to repeat (as new wine club members). We knew Jan and Kelly from another winery and were pleased to see them here. They are super friendly, knowledgeable, and treat you like friends not customers. The owners Dane & McKenzie came by to chat and could not have been more engaging. This is going to be the hottest winery on the 290 trail, so be sure to get in now...you won't be disappointed!
