Excellent hiking trails!
The trailhead is pretty much a parking area and a kiosk with maps. Nothing else needed once you are hiking on these beautiful trails. My bff Buc and I decided to hike the "A Loop" because it's a trail on the Florida Trailwalker list. Mapped as 6.70 miles but felt longer with all the hills (Yes! I said hills). 50,000 acres here with miles of hiking trails, including the Florida National Scenic Trail. Holder Mine has a campground and hunt camp also. Excellent hiking trails and located just 2 miles from SR-44 in Inverness. Hiking is FREE! Highly recommended! Bring drinking water and your camera. Tons of photo ops!

Great Facilty
The facility is great for camping. It provides water, electric, grass and cement facilities with clean bathrooms. The area know as Citrus WMA is great for hiking, horseback riding or trail vehicle riding.

Nice clean campground
Holder Mine is a nice clean campground. Sites are easy to get into, even with larger rigs. I was there for 2 weeks in my 42 foot fifth wheel. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the lack of cell phone coverage. It's a safety thing for me. Each site has electric and water hookup, dump station is near by. Overall a nice place, will definitely be back.
