Much improved since my last visit
For Americans this place is not comparable to SeaWorld but more like the good Aquariums you might find in Gatlinburg and Newport/Cincinnati. I thought the admission price of about $16 was a little high for the Philippines but still a bargain compared to US prices. My last visit was 2016 and it has definitely improved since then It’s easy to spend a couple of hours here. There are numerous great displays as you go through the different sections. Kids I saw were having a wonderful time and adults young and old seemed to enjoy as well. Most everything you want to see is on the first floor. The second makes you walk through long corridors to get to a small display of penguins followed by a “Christmas Village” that is nothing other than a place for photo ops. You can save some time and just skip floor 2.

A rather disappointing experience.
As a local who grew up with the once best theme park in HK, I have never been so disappointed. On the positive side, because I chose to visit on a weekday, the park was not crowded at all and even the cable car ride has zero waiting time. Low or no waiting time for most of the rides too. Visits to the aquarium and other wild life / marine creatures were very enjoyable too. However, the management has failed to maintain a cheerful atmosphere for visitors. Quite a few of the rides and exhibitions were closed while many staff looked grumpy. Official park souvenir photos are expensive. Masks were mandatory so it's not likely that people would pay the $$$ for a pair of eyes inside the cable car! The once full house Ocean Theater is now 'down-graded' to a small circle show renamed "Dolphin Exploration", entertaining only a small crowd at the front of the pool. The major audiences were left bewildered at what's happening and where. The park is nice and clean. Plants were beautifully kept. But the atmosphere is rather depressing and sad. For $360 it's worth a visit. However, the Park must make more effort in uplifting the its attractiveness rather than simply adjusting the admission fee.
