A peaceful place to visit and spend some time together..
Dear viewer, I went to khajjiar for peaceful time with my wife. I stayed there in sine Star hotel for two days .I came from Delhi and reached to chamba in evening.. There is no other vehicle options after 4:00 pm to go to khajjiar , finally I got inside the last bus which was going to khajjiar..very crowded.. We have done 20 km ride and suddenly we saw slow ice rain there and peaks we're fully black and white with clouds .. I can't forgot,very peaceful and amazing view . Now this was the time when bus was sliding on the road and very generous time ,for a second I feared.. And we were only 10-15 peoples in the bus ..bus driver had stopped the bus before 2 km to the destination.. Me and my wife decided to get a text but there was no texi and now everyone was on their foot..ice fall was very slightly different from a rain ..we have a wheel based bags was very helpful to move the luggage.. I can't forgot that time ,I was free of tensions no official work tensions no other issue ..and finally we reached to the lake ...fully covered with ice and devdaar ? trees around that lake were also covered with ice .. December is the best time to have enjoyed...

Known as Mini Switzerland
It is 2 hrs travel from Dalhousie. Mostly people take a day trip and come back to Dalhousie in the evening. At lake itself there are two or three average hotels which can be booked through Make my Trip. It is a picturesque and cool place but the road to dalhousie is very narrow. It is better to avoid your own car . it is better to come by taxi.
