Got LUCKY, meet a group of Zhuang and Miao People celebrating their holiday.
An Ordinary ancient town, food here is overpriced, especially after the Re-open of China tourism. But I’m lucky enough to meet these local Zhuang and Miao People to celebrate their traditional holiday. Order a beer in this Bar and support the local business.

It all depends on what you want....
It's hard to say good or bad in many respects because it is what you would expect for a pedestrian street that is a tourist attraction. There are many similar shops that sell trinkets and food, which isn't that much different than other tourist spots but there are some gems here and there. This is not a must see, but it's a good way to kill some time if you want to wander and people watch. One of the big perks is that it has a range of Western food options. A plethora of pizza places and craft pubs. So if you want something that isn't Chinese there are many options. The Starbucks and Watsons is helpful too! If you get off the main street you will find more interesting shops and a tangle of interesting places. We went when it was off-season and there were few people around. It might be overwhelming during the high season, but I can't speak to that, but this won't make or break your visit and there are certainly many more fun things to do before you land here, but if you want to stroll and be aimless its a good option.
