A Trip of a Lifetime!
Our family used "Visit Our China" to visit Beijing, X'ian, Guilin and Yangshao. The agency organized tour guides, drivers, and accommodations in each city. We were very happy with the services of the tour guides & drivers. The tours in each city were excellent. The hotels were perfect for our family and the meals provided were wonderful. We enjoyed many highlights and moments of awe inspiring scenes at each place we visited. Our tour guides Cici (Beijing), Wendy (X'ian) and Lee (Guilin & Yangshao) shared lots of Chinese culture and great stories of Chinese history with us.The Great Wall will never cease to amaze and the Dragon Backbone Rice Paddy Terraces were examples of amazing determination. The Terracotta Warriors were also amazing My children said "It was a trip of a lifetime!" and we want to thank Sandy Ren, our travel agent at Visit our China for helping it all go so well!

Guilin experiences
January 2015, my wife and I arranged thru Visit Our China a Li River Cruise and visited the Longsheng terraced fields. It was quite early for the rice season, but visiting the local Yao minority village was a great experience. Sights included traditional dress, women with hair almost 6 feet in length, traversing up the mountain path on foot (sometimes meeting horse porters along the path), and a meal high up in the mountain village cooked inside bamboo stalks. This is the 3rd time VOC has arranged travel for me and once again the guides were perfect and the arrangements were excellent.

Fantastic views!
Better visit the terraced fields in either early June or late September. You would be more than thrilled either way with the unimaginable grandness of the beauty generations of farmers have created!
