Beautiful park with ponds and brooks.
Behind the formel garden of the palace Het Loo you can walk in this park. There are ponds and brooks and there is an area where you can walk between the deer.

Artificial, but very pleasant park
With 650 hectares in size this is a huge English landscape style park. It has been cultivated over a period of 300 years! A very pleasant area to walk through because of the variety of nature presentations and the presence of wild life such as deer. Oak and fir forest, brooks and ponds, moors and meadows, all accessible by well maintained trails. The longest route is just under 15 km. Hard to imagine that until recently just one family and their guests could enjoy the landscapes. Now open to the general public, but -very Dutch- payment is required. Entry fee: 2€ for a one day pass.
