    Blue and gold
Before Jeroen Bosch, there were the three Van Lymborch brothers, famous for the hour-books that they created for their wealthy patrons, French nobles. You visit the cellar of their 14th century workshop and take in replicas of their stunning works, detailing the lives of the rich and ordinary folks. Surely worth a visit!

An amazing experience! Don't miss it.
This little jewel of a museum is well worth visiting. It pays homage to the Limbourg brothers - Dutch miniature painters from Nijmegen, active in the 15th century. They were commissioned by the most powerful courts in Europe and produced works such as the Book of Hours for the Duke of Berry. On the site of the museum was their workshop. The very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide will take you on a journey to the 15th century introducing their patrons and commissions and also a visit to the cellar showing the original medieval walls, where the Limbourg produced their amazing artworks!
