EXCELLENT FRISCO VETERANS MEMORIAL

The Frisco Veterans Memorial in the Frisco Commons Park is a place worth visiting. It is located just beyond the large, center pavilion. The Memorial includes the original 1948 Veterans Memorial urn, a veterans Walk of Honor, the Wall of Honor, a Battlefield Cross, the Gold Star Family Memorial Monument, WWII Flyboy statue and information plaques on wars and conflicts since Frisco was founded in 1902. An audio guide is now available discussing the Memorial's history, the meaning of the various elements at the Memorial, veteran comments, facts and interesting stories. You will most likely leave the Memorial knowing it is a living tribute to veterans, and not simply a part of a nice park in Frisco.

Great place for all, including special needs and very young
This park has it all! There is an area for young (2-5) as well as special needs adapted swings and wheelchair accessible playground. There are also pavilions for picnics, walking trails through a nature reserve as well as a spray park. You can even catch and release fish from the stocked pond or play ball in the open areas. It's a favorite of the locals and a real treat for visitors. The best part...it's free!

    a Jewel
A lot of people from Frisco do not even know about this JEWEL. It is an out of the way location, very clean and well-maintained park. It has a large covered pavilion.
