Farmers Market and Crafts

Enjoy the downtown Fort Pierce Farmers Market on Saturday. Vegetables, sweets, teas, and coffee, as well as a craft market. I also took a walk over the downtown and checked out the local shops and places to eat. One place we visited was the Manatee museum and education center. It only costs a dollar for the entrance. I ate at 12abuoy, and it was great, I recommend the cold or hot shrimp. It was only $8.00 per half-pound and they were huge for this price. Enjoy the market and the old town. #TimSamsTravelUSA Live Life Today, Travel USA!!!

One of the best farmers markets around in florida with live music
Been going here gur the last 18 years every Saturday when in Florida. Due to the hurricane unfortunately most of the organic farmers have gone out of business but a few new ones are here. You can find Excellent citrus, seafood, organic meats and BBC a number of cooked food venues. Open from 8- we with people coming earlier snd leaving later. Plenty of parking in a park next to the bay. The live music adds yo the atmosphere. And regulars. Arrive in costume sometimes Prices are good and specials orders for the following week are common. Good spot to Meet friends with benches all around.

Artists, Artisanal foodstuffs some food. Fun
We went late March. Not much by way of vegetables or fruit for a "Farmer's Market", perhaps that changes later in the season. Regardless there were many vendors selling art, beachwear, hats, artisanal spices, sauces, honeys, nuts etc. Not much in the way of food choices either, Turkey legs, Gyros, donuts, popcorn, fish dip, and I had shrimp tacos (2 for $12) fresh cooked and delicious. Worth the trip. Plenty of parking within a few blocks.
