Beautiful Pier & Pelicans

We loved visiting this pier on our vacation. We parked a few blocks away. It’s free to walk on the pier. There is a restaurant but we did not dine there. We saw birds and a lot of people fishing. Fish is free and they offer pole and bait rentals for a small fee. There are also bathrooms.

Best pier for fishing and or chilling
Ventured down to Bradenton beach pier a few times with family to fish. Parking a bit sparse and 3 hour limit but beautiful place and highlight of our holiday. Caught Grouper, Hammerhead shark, Lemon shark, stingray, Mackerel, lady fish, Sheep head and some slimey old Hardhead Catfish with the nasty spines. Someone also caught a sea snake. A proper fishing pier, well kept and respected by all who use it.

Sunny Saturday Morning
Early Saturday morning on a sunny but windy day Only a few people out fishing on the pier. NO entrance fee to fish. Clean bathrooms, fish cleaning areas and a bait shop. A few bites but didn't catch anything in the two hours there.
