   We loved visiting this pier on our vacation. We parked a few blocks away. It’s free to walk on the pier. There is a restaurant but we did not dine there. We saw birds and a lot of people fishing. Fish is free and they offer pole and bait rentals for a small fee. There are also bathrooms. See more..

   We walked to the pier and ate at the Anna Maria Oyster Bar. It was so good we went back two more times. We saw snook, sea bass, trout, dolphins and lots of bait fish. Chatted with local people fishing. Nice little area on the southern part of the island. Close to some bars, shops and delicious restaurants. Our favorite was Bamboo Island. It’s upstairs and has an awesome selection of foods. Lots of night life and live music at night. See more..
