First Fridays (the first Friday (duh) of the month March - December ,5 - 8PM "officially"), is all that makes this town a great place to be concentrated along Court Street in downtown Florence. Local artisans and entertainers line the streets, selling their wares, performing, or just passing the time with you. Shops stay open later, restaurants stay open even later, and great people watching abound! The local music scene is well represented from the excellent street musicians to those performing in the restaurants.
