Recently while passing through Dothan, we decided to stop in at the " Visit Dothan" Office. However, due to COVID-19, the office was closed. On the front porch were free brochures of things to do while in Dothan, so we had some extra time to kill and we decided to take the list and hunt for a few cool Peanuts! I think that there are about 60 plus painted peanuts around town, and we located 18 in about an hour and a half. If you decide to try and find them all, I would recommend starting early that morning and using the Peanut map locator as a guide. We had a lot of fun. I'm sure if you have kids they will love this. Each peanut offers a cool photo opportunity. I highly recommend stopping by the "Visit Dothan" Office and picking up the Peanut locator map, and go find your peanuts!See more..
Guinness Book of Records has placed this as the smallest block in the world. Since our hotel was near by we took the time to locate it since we were in no hurry and was looking around Dothan. It's fun to see how small it is and gave us a good chuckle! It's no big deal so if you are rushed forget it but, if you are just having fun...look it up. What do you have to lose??See more..

We originally came to Dothan for the peanut stuff, but the murals were a delightful surprise. To see them properly, go to the visitor’s center and get a free guide book, the drive up and down St Andrew street, stopping multiple times to see the dozens of building sized pieces of art.
