Something Fun to do while you are visiting Dothan
Recently while passing through Dothan, we decided to stop in at the " Visit Dothan" Office. However, due to COVID-19, the office was closed. On the front porch were free brochures of things to do while in Dothan, so we had some extra time to kill and we decided to take the list and hunt for a few cool Peanuts! I think that there are about 60 plus painted peanuts around town, and we located 18 in about an hour and a half. If you decide to try and find them all, I would recommend starting early that morning and using the Peanut map locator as a guide. We had a lot of fun. I'm sure if you have kids they will love this. Each peanut offers a cool photo opportunity. I highly recommend stopping by the "Visit Dothan" Office and picking up the Peanut locator map, and go find your peanuts!

Hard to find but cute concept
Thought it would be fun to drive around and see some of these novelty works of art. They were really hard to find and we only could track down two of them. Cute and creative but would have liked to have been able to see a few more.

Looking for Peanuts was a Little Nutty
A few years ago artists created 50 four foot fiberglass peanuts & they were displayed around the Dothan area. We could only find a few of them but it was fun to see the camera nut & painter at Brackin Paint. It was a fun few minutes on our way to Panama CIty Beach.
