Paseo Maritimo, Dalmatia, Croatia
4.5 (462 reviews) Thursday: Spent 1-2 hours Ranking #2 in Zadar County Points of Interest & Landmarks
Delightful walking area.
We walked along the promenade several times as there are ever changing views over to the island offshore. Interesting buildings, city walls, some sculptures, the Sea Organ and the cruise ship dock are all accessible from this walkway. The final section of new stonework and a quay are being rebuilt and will be finished soon.

Splendid Promenade
This splendid promenade is a relaxing way to walk along the shoreline and to get to the Sea Organ and The Greeting to the Sun. It is lined by trees on the side by the city. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the scenery.

A pleasant relaxing stroll with magical water views ....
the Paseo Maritimo takes you from The Sea Organ all the way past the open plaza of the Forum, & continues down to Fosa Port - an inlet for small boats ending at the West Gate in the wall. BUT continue ... a further 20 minute walk rewards you as you wander along the park to Kolovare Beach... a great spot to swim or sun or kick back in one of the cafes on the waters edge. This is the quiet unhurried part of Zadar. Not to be missed.
