    Cute little Museum!
The guy who ran the cute little museum was sooo lovely. He gave us a free bottle of water, a quick bit of information and a free fan! The museum had 3 floors of old and new stories/ traditions and was a good little stop for our time in Croatia. Would recommend!

    Cute
We stumbled upon this place hours before leaving Dubrovnik— both myself and my companion skeptical at first (worried it would be super campy). And it was, in a good way. If anything, skip the Game of Thrones/film room, filled with canvas screen grabs, yellowed and faded by sunlight, and head up to the next level where people from around the world have submitted personal items that represent love. These “relics” of sorts make this “museum” worth it: a toothbrush, a comb, a bow tie worn on a first date. Each piece is accompanied by a short explanation from its owner, anonymous in all but first name, and my visceral reaction for many of these was to cry. Deeply moving. At the third level, visitors can leave messages on walls adorned with heart-shaped post-it notes. If you ignore the ones that say things like, “Send d*ck pics,” it’s actually quite beautiful. The price for this place is steep considering the only true installation consists of personal items from visitors past. I would’ve liked to see more love stories from Dubrovnik specifically, perhaps a room with stories of love from wartime, or love of country. All that said, who knew a toothbrush would be the best way to wrap up my vacation: a reminder that love abounds and conquers all.
