PErfect not too big museum
An interesting and very well arranged museum, telling the history of the surrounding lands from Prehistoric times to the Middle Ages. All exhibits are described in English, with special attention paid to Ancient Rome. Overall, it's not very big, but I liked it and recommend it for a visit if you're in Zadar.

"Travel educates" they say ... so why not, ...
It was pretty interesting. Why not visit the museum? It will bring a nice change of pace to your stay in Zadar. On 3 floors you can learn about archaeological findings of the region and ancient history, since Rome's occupation and earlier. But anyway, the history is always written by the winners, and the findings are always interpreted according to the understanding of those who exhibit it ... It was ok, if you want to give it a try. Have fun and bring 30 HRK cash for entry, they do not accept cards ...

Well organised
The initial idea to visit this museum was to get away from the heat and crowds. However, it turned out to be a much more interesting visit. The museum is actually quite big due to the way it is organised. Several interesting exhibits.
