We drove up after lunch to tour the caverns. There was an older couple selling the tickets and working in the small gift shop. They were not very friendly but perhaps they were having a bad day?! Our guide, Eric, was very good and knowledgeable regarding cave info & history. We had six in our group. Let me say this is a beautiful cavern, smaller, with so many stairs. So many stairs. I was out of breath several times. I would not recommend taking small children or old folks as the stairs are pretty steep and hand rails are thick and rough and pretty slick in areas. We intended to go to the gift shop after our tour. It was locked up! Pretty disappointed. See more..
