Do not follow the map direction if you want to get the registration post, or you will ended at the abang village, down to the mountain. The best way to get the registration post is by passing the Museum Geopark Batur, you find the three junction, and turn left. Just follow the main road, in about 8 or 10 minutes you will find the registration post.

Mount Abang is the third highest mount in Bali after Mount Agung and Mount Batukaru. It takes about 2 hours from Denpasar by motorcycle. Before entering the mount track, you should pay for the enterance ticket (just 10k rupiah).
