Not dangerous anymore - there is a new iron staircase instead of the very steep part.
Since the new staircase is real worth a visit - for everyone! beautiful - not crowded- entrance fee 15000 Rp (2017)

Awesome private waterfall
We were all alone around 14h-15h. Which was really cool. The hikes down and up are a bit steep but do-able. Be sure to wear good shoes. The waterfall itself is amazing and perfect to swim in. Just be careful of the stream to the river, lots of undertow. The restaurant at the top is also a big bonus: good food, cheap and an awesome view over the rice paddies. And the swing is much cheaper as Bali swing (50k). Absolutely recommend it.

Unknown Waterfall
On the way to Bangli , just ask the the village of Kuning. Ther are no signs The waterfall of Kuning , Bali is very unknown by tourists. . This is because the waterfall is hidden in the forest and there is not a regular path going there. If you want to visit it , you need somebody of the village to guide you. But there is always some boy who like to go with you and after that , give hin some money to make his day. IIt's going up and down through the rainforest , small waters and than suddenly yiy see the waterfall ! It's an amazing view , standin in the forest , overlooking the valley. Going further down you can go to the bottom of the fall , but remember , you also have to go back !
