Mountain View Cafes in Kintamani
We went to here for lunch and take same of pictures. Mostly the restaurant view is amazing, we can see the mountain while eat the delicious lunch. The restaurants also provided some of special place for take the pictures, such as Tegucafe, Akasa and Olympus.

Spectacular View Indeed
Our tour agent thought that we should enjoy the scenic Kintamani Volcano also known as Mount Batur while having lunch. So, we were dropped off at Grand Puncak Sari Restaurant that looked old & dated. The restaurant was empty except for 2 occupied tables at the restaurant’s balcony. We were ushered to the al-fresco dining area as that’s where the best tables are. The table service was terrible as the waiters weren’t attentive. And disappointingly enough, the buffet lunch was only passable & there were a lot of flies at our table which deteriorated & ruined the whole dining experience. However, we had a good view of Mount Batur, an active volcano whose last eruption was in 2000. The slopes were black in colour due to hard dried molten lava. We took many photos of Mount Batur & Lake Batur, Bali’s largest lake, which is seen to be behind the spectacular volcano, to its right. It was very surreal. There were also some settlements at the foot of the hill showing civilisation within the tropical jungle. The temperature had dropped, the air was cool & crisp. Unfortunately, we could see some smoke from some parts in the vicinity which had caught fire. After lunch, we asked a staff for a room to perform prayers. The staff had told us to go downstairs for ablution. The steeps were very steep & one could easily have fallen if he or she is not careful. The water in the toilet was cold. Thereafter, we were instructed to go upstairs & shown a room outside the restaurant. A worn out carpet was drawn out for us to perform prayers. We went back to the restaurant to thank the staff for her kindness & to take more photos of Mount Batur in the background.

Loved this area
Whilst doing some research on Bali I came across Kintamani and it represented my ideal scenery so started looking at places to stay in the area. Our drive there was just beautiful and I couldn't stop looking out the windows. The area isn't touristic at all and it has allowed for the natural beauty of the area to flourish.
