Fishing for fun
On a recent trip to Miami I had an unexpected meeting cancellation, so I decided to go fishing to kill a day and I contacted Capt. Denis, boy was that a good decision. The weather was not the best to head out into the ocean, so we decided to stay inshore and try a few spots while we did some sightseeing. He was very knowledgeable and all around a nice person to have a conversation with while fishing. I mention this because a few years back I hired a guide out of Key Biscayne and it was like been with a drill sergeant, he got upset if the cast was not perfect etc, and that made the whole experience awful, to the point that we decided to cut the fishing trip short. Capt. Denis' boat was well prepared with the proper gear and he was always ready to help and or teach the different techniques. I would strongly recommend his services not only to a fishing enthusiast, but to a family with kids as well. Thanks Capt. Denis!

Fishing in Florida
Decided to fish for a day while in Miami recently. Met captain Jean at the marina & off we went. Unfortunately, fish weren't biting. Caught a few. Weather was perfect, was enjoyable. Kids had fun. No frills boat. Had cold water for us. Back to dock by 1pm. He tried getting live bait-was sold out. Probably would have helped. He should provide this & not an excuse! I felt price warranted live bail.

August fishing trip
Clients beware - I have just had a very poor experience with this charter company. I had a fishing trip booked with my son from 8 am- 2pm. I suspect Blue Moon subcontracted this out as it was a different boat and a different skipper to that advertised on their website. The time of departure changed 3 times with late notice from 8m, to 10, then 11 and finally 12pm from a different location. We then had the issue of no bait which meant a further delay of 1 hour while they sourced some. They were totally unprepared and I expected way more for the $650 I paid for the trip.
