I visit the Shrine few times during the year to attend the healing mass. I always spend no less than two to three hours between the service, walking around the beautiful grounds, checking the store, and praying and lighting a candle at the Chapel of Light. It is an important and meaningful pilgrimage for me, that brings me peace, joy, and healing from the life struggles. The place is beautiful, and it's surrounded by woods, so it's a restorative trip as you reconnect with God, our Spiritual Mother Mary, and nature. They hold the beautiful Festival of Lights every Christmas season. It's wonderful to walk around seeing the Christmas lights while having a cup of hot chocolate.
