4.5Son Silver West Gallery(412 reviews) - A Sedina Icon - Not to be Missed Saturday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Art Galleries
I have been coming to Sedona for more than a decade - long enough to know the places worth visiting, and the ones to be avoided. This is one of the best. It is utterly unique with a vast array of items, from fine native american jewelry (yes, the real stuff at good prices, not knock offs from asia), to a large rug collection, art, peppers, hot sauce, clay pots, wooden objects of all sorts, oh - did I mention a huge array of eclectic delights. I visit it nearly every trip, and always find new things. What sets them apart is the rare combination of variety, quality, very fair pricing, and good service. We are never disappointed, and always marvel at the stark contrast between this spot and so many of the tourist places in Uptown. Even if you are only in Sedona for a day, this is one place not to be missed.See more..

So impressive. The art is beautiful and authentic to Sedona. Everything you could want. Paintings, sculpture, jewelry, pottery...I bought some artisanal jewelry I could never find at home. There was also an activity going on in the barn in the back. I guess it is a studio that artists use...it was a special event where painters come and paint and then display whatever they have painted. lovely...there is a special word that describes but I cannot remember. We saw a national tour of this show a few years back but enjoyed the PCA version much more with its intimate setting. We have also seen The Lion in Winter, 39 Steps, Sweeney Todd, The Miracle Worker, and a few others at PCA that were all very well done. We will be back for more!See more..

While doing our sightseeing in the Sedona area we stopped into the Collective mall for lunch at Miley's Cafe' and then went into the Adorn Collection looking for something unique to bring home from AZ... The lady who helped us was very friendly and was playing some great old time classic rock on the mini-speaker she had...If I remember correctly there was some Allman Brothers from the Filmore East live album and even some Grateful Dead...nice... 4.0Rising Sun Gallery(1 review) - Small but the onwer/artist is wonderful Spent < 1 hour Art Galleries We stopped in this gallery at the beginning of our month long trip because many others were closed during Feb. We stopped again at the end because we hadn't found anything we liked better than a few things we'd seen there. It's a small place, but the silverwork is made by the owner, although there are non-silver Hopi art pieces as well. The owner, Mr. Selina, was immensely helpful with information about Hopi art and silver work in particular. His prices are much less than at other places we visited later on our trip, but about the same as other galleries on the reservation. He exhibits at fairs and shows in other places...eg. Phoenix.See more..
