   This was a wonderful tour to take. Very inexpensive and well worth the two hour boat Eco tour. My husband and I take pictures of wildlife so our purpose for the tour was to travel the Withlacoochee River and take pictures of the wildlife. We were not disappointed. The added bonus was the narrative given by Captain Rick. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and identified a lot of the plants and foliage for us. I highly recommend this tour for anyone to take if you are in the area. See more..

   This Beach is at the very western end of CR 40 "Follow That Dream" Parkway. There is a pier where you can launch a boat or kayak. This is a part of the nature coast. No high rises here. Just marshes, wetlands and the Gulf of Mexico. The beach area is relatively small, but quaint. Lots of fishermen and women and if you are observant, some marine life. Natural Florida. See more..

   This is a nice rather small park on the Withlacoochee River embedded within the local neighborhood. There is a gazebo and a small wooden walkway near the river bank. It is a nice park to relax and take in the river and maybe do some meditation. See more..
