Peaceful beautiful surroundings that offer a great getaway in a simple rustic cabin over looking the lake. Pet friendly. Be prepared to furnish your own cookware and dinner placements if you decide to use the stove, microwave, coffeemaker, or toaster. We had to make a quick run to Dollar General for mugs. See more..

We were staying at Wister State Park and went into Poteau for a few supplies. We made the trip up the winding road to the top. It had been raining on and off and the clouds against the blue sky were beautiful. No walking required. You can drive right up to the sign. See more..
