    - take the tour but not on a super hot day ...
    Military Bases & Facilities
    Delta-01 Launch Control Facility image
very worth taking this tour to give you a better understanding of our defence system and how they made it work. basically the Ranger gives a little talk and then takes you down an elevator to the command center. then you hear about the equipment and their procedures. we all learned a lot! the only complain was our ranger kept us outside in the BLAZING sun giving her into talk for about 20 minutes when it could have easily been done in inside the air conditioned the building. I don't know how she was so clueless that we were all very uncomfortable but it didn't seem to phase her. other than that she was knowledgeable and very nice. See more..
