My wife and I had a great tasting experience led by Tori. She was articulate and knowledgeable, a local with ultimate authenticity but also a NY culinary background that allowed her to provide good pairings for the various George Dickel whiskeys. The tour had to have had only 5 others, so the small setting was excellent and allowed for a better experience. The gift shop had so many cool things and bottles to purchase (we bought a bunch of glasses). I’ve been to several distilleries both in the US and Scotland, and this is on-par with the top notch tasting experiences (I think highly dependent on your tasting guide though). The only downside is the distillery was closed for tours at the time which we were bummed about...but hopefully that means we’ll be back. Highly recommend regardless if you’re a whiskey connoisseur or just passing through!See more..
4.5Rutledge Falls(124 reviews) - Close to Nashville, easy access, beautiful! Waterfalls
Beautiful falls, a short walk from parking to seeing the falls. I would definitely wear water shoes to avoid slipping on the rocks. Water is clear and cold. Best to play in or hike in on a very hot day. You can also just take pictures and hike along the edge of the river without getting wet if you just want to check it out. I went there with my wife to check it out and will bring our four kids there on a family trip next week to hike the river and play in the falls.See more..

Visited the Short Springs State Natural Area and hiked Machine Falls Loop. This came out to a 5.3 mile hike over 4:30 hours and a multitude of elevations and billy goat trails. The weather was great, and there were very few people out today so it was very quiet. In addition to Machine Falls, I also did the Laurel Bluff (my favorite, so serene) and Adams Falls (challenged my stamina) Loops. Time to plan for the next hike!!!See more..
The "Greenway" starts in several places. 1.You can start at the Rocket Park next to the New Water Park (City Pool) on Collins, just go towards the Little League Field for the official start. 2. At the park behind the Tullahoma High School. 3. The big Church of Christ on Cedar Lane. Great for walking, running, jogging, biking and strollers. This pathway is all paved. And there are benches to rest at several spots on the path. Also, there are public restrooms at the High School spot. Enjoy! See more..
