We had a great experience with Portofino divers. Simone and Giovanni were both amazing. Friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The shop is new, and looks great. I know they are going to do great. They provide a level of service we don't find around many spots in Miami where you just get a ticket to get on the boat. Giovanni and Simone both texted us well in advance about the dive, did a briefing for us in the shop, helped with equipment (lugging, and setting up, and even helped change a leaky hose for me). A great group and I am sure they will be very successful, We will be back and will bring our friends !! Note the free parking upstairs (or use the valet for free too!). Captain Drew was the best to work with. Easy booking process and very competitively priced. The yacht was perfect- large enough for our party of 6, clean, and very comfortable. We spent the day cruising the inter coastal, stopped at the Haulover sandbar to snorkel and swim, and then had dinner on the boat at a local restaurant. Fun Friday night late show. They have a full bar and full service menu and great service. We went after dinner so we only ordered drinks and carrot cake for dessert. This park is within walking distance of many condos, and hotels. You can ride your bike there or take a bus. There is a small parking lot next to the park, however, across the street you can park your car in a parking lot behind Epicure Gourmet Market & Café. The grounds are well manicured and there is an area where children can run and fall down with injuring themselves. It is a brown and orange spongy material. I have seen people walking on the sidewalk pushing a carriage inside the park. There are exercise areas. Some of the playground equipment is under canopies. There is seating around the park for those who want to rest a bit. From time to time this park is used for movies at night and the annual city anniversary event is held at this site each year in June. There is a restroom for men and women and a soda machine. This is a park right on the beach in Sunny Isles. There is a very small parking lot but there is a $2 per hour garage a block away. My advice is to unload your beach stuff and then send someone back to park the car. Pier Park takes its name from the Newport Pier that juts off the beach over the ocean. You have to pay to fish but it is free to take a stroll. There is also a restaurant of the pier called Beach Bar where you can get delicious looking meals and topical drinks. Of course the main reason to come to the park is to sun on the beach and swim. There are chaise lounges and umbrellas you can rent and the beach has a life guard. On the day I visited there was a lot of algae in the water but it still looked like a lovely spot to enjoy one of the best things Florida has to offer, endless beaches. See more..

Found this while looking for a birthday dinner idea and boy was it a good one. This is like a live action clue, where the actor are imbedded in with the guest. Little skits in between five you small clues along the way. There are some downsides. The food is ok but not great as it’s all the same and cooked in bulk for the mass which is about 70 people.
