   On a day out wine tasting while visiting some Maryland friends, the 4 of us stopped by hoping to taste a few wines. We ended up spending a couple hours hanging out listening to a very cool jazz-funk band overlooking the beautiful view and ordering pizza to go with our bottle of red. The owners were so friendly, and although they've only been open for 2 years (and committing their lives to it for the last 5), they had so many different wines. You can tell from the first sip that they really put their hearts into the winemaking and their business. As for the wine itself, I liked that their whites are unoaked, my personal preference. The reds were delicately balanced with distinct and interesting notes that really work for each wine - well planned by the winemakers. It's definitely worth a drive up the hill for both nice people and good wine! See more..
