  1. 5.0 Earth Lore (5 reviews)
    - Great experience
Sunday: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Speciality & Gift Shops
    Earth Lore image
We have been deemed many things by our customers and fellow entrepreneurs; “The Crystal Shop”, “Zen Oasis” (Thanks, Detroit Free Press!), “The Incense Place”, “The Hippie Store”, to name a few. The Yellow Pages lists us under “Metaphysical Products and Services”, and the Metro Times referred to us as a “New Age Emporium”. Though any one of the aforementioned classifications might be true of Earth lore, none reveal the whole truth behind the creation of our business, and the mission we strive daily to achieve. What is “Earth Lore”? “Earth Lore” was not an arbitrarily chosen name for our store. It is, in fact, the essence of our business mission Earth: We sell goods from across the globe; literally from the earth as in the case of our vast crystal and mineral selection, and figuratively from the earth as in our eclectic stock of world music, religious tools, and replica items whose origins span centuries, continents, and empires. Lore: Our mission is to provide items with meaning, or “lore”, behind their creation. Lore is an Old English word referring to the meaning passed down on a subject or object via tradition or anecdote. The story behind an item may not always be obvious, as in the case of our selection of body products where one must look to the ingredients to find a vast history of metaphysical and medicinal uses. Conversely, items such as our Greek and archangel statuary have clear histories of belief and reverence. In a sense, our name encompasses our entire business. Why Shop at Earth Lore? Our everyday goal is to provide a soothing, positive, and inviting atmosphere for our customers. We are the place people come to take in sights, sounds, and smells that promote positive energy and relaxation. We are a place where people of all faiths, ethnicities, and philosophies are welcome to shop, learn, and be at peace. We are a place where every item is stocked with intention and care, and every gift purchased (for yourself or another) has meaning. Serving the ... See more..

  5. 5.0 Creatopia Pottery (1 review)
    - Fun For Everyone
    Paint & Pottery Studios
Creatopia Pottery offers children of all ages an opportunity to express themselves artistically by painting a huge selection of pottery items. Our visit was in November, so the most popular pottery pieces were various Christmas tree ornaments. The three year old in our group chose a decorated door, the five year olds selected trees, and some of the older adults opted for the relatively simple stocking! As the senior (and least artistic) member of the group, I watched with glee and fascination as the other eight completed some truly beautiful creations. See more..
  6. 5.0 St. Michael Melkite Catholic Church (1 review)
    - Wonderful parish! Early Church in action
    Sunday: 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Churches & Cathedrals
A wonderful parish! We were visiting town in January 2017 and visited for Divine Liturgy and were warmly welcomed by parishioners and the priest. Love the traditional liturgy, great priest, highly recommend the parish! A little background: the Melkite Catholic Church is oldest Church in the world, with St. Peter being the first bishop before he journeyed to Rome! Tradition comes alive here! All Catholics and Orthodox are welcome to receive the Eucharist. See more..
  7. 4.5 Kellogg Park (143 reviews)
    - A small town Americana gem
    Spent < 1 hour Parks
    Kellogg Park image
Plymouth is a wonderful town reminiscent of Norman Rockwell's America. Kellogg Park is the epicenter of its heart and soul. Summer concerts, various fairs and a fall carnival are set in the vicinity of the park and over a thousand people gather. Of course the Ice Festival in mid winter is famous. The park fountain offers a festive touch and a nice gathering spot. It is due to be replaced soon and I hope the new one is as nice as the old. There is an abundance of very nice restaurants surrounding the park. With the historic Penn Theater, established in fateful December, 1941 as a backdrop, one is reminded of what life was like in small town America in the 40's and 50's. My all time favorite event here is the July 4th concert each year paying tribute to Plymouth's serviceman and always ending with the rousing 1812 Overture. See more..

Watch the next wave of NHL stars for just a few bucks & you can see them compete against players at the college & minor league level (usually 2-6 years older) and usually beat them. 19. 3.5 Hilltop Golf Course (20 reviews)
    - A pretty course right in Plymouth
    Golf Courses
We've played golf here, as well as many other courses, for over twenty years. The first nine holes which I think are prettier remind me of a course up north with its heavy woods and numerous steep hills. I am a high handicapper and this course suits me fine. The course has always had reasonable greens fees. New managers are in charge now and I wish them well. See more..

  21. 3.0 Brae Burn Golf Club (1 review)
    - Nice course, but nothing fancy
Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses
Don't look for a fancy clubhouse here. Course is pretty decent basic course. Plenty challenging for the high handicapper. Staff is pleasant. My main complaint is some of the greens are unfair with super steep slopes that make your putts roll off the green at times. The greens fees are very reasonable. See more..
