A small town Americana gem
Plymouth is a wonderful town reminiscent of Norman Rockwell's America. Kellogg Park is the epicenter of its heart and soul. Summer concerts, various fairs and a fall carnival are set in the vicinity of the park and over a thousand people gather. Of course the Ice Festival in mid winter is famous. The park fountain offers a festive touch and a nice gathering spot. It is due to be replaced soon and I hope the new one is as nice as the old. There is an abundance of very nice restaurants surrounding the park. With the historic Penn Theater, established in fateful December, 1941 as a backdrop, one is reminded of what life was like in small town America in the 40's and 50's. My all time favorite event here is the July 4th concert each year paying tribute to Plymouth's serviceman and always ending with the rousing 1812 Overture.

A Nice Place to Be
Kellogg Park is a wonderful place to just be. There might be a noon or evening concert happening. There might be the Saturday morning farmer's market. Whatever is or isn't happening, it's a lovely spot! Sit on a bench by the fountain or one of the numerous other benches around the park with your lunch or an ice cream cone. Bring a book - or just people-watch

Ice festival
In general it is just an ok park, surrounded by interesting restaurants. In one weekend of January ( usually 1 or 2 before MLK holiday) it hosts the Plymouth I’ve festival, that is a cool nice event to visit with kids to enjoy the ice sculptures.
