From the start Jenny and Stephen were very communicative and punctual with their responses and information for our NYE winery day. Their pricing was fair and comparable to others in the area. They assigned Jeff as our driver, who was so kind and flexible with our schedule. He arrived 10 mins early to discuss any last minute details and didn’t stray too far during each winery stay. I highly recommend using Jenny and Stephen’s company for any day trip, whether it’s around the Lake or venturing out to Charlottesville. And if you can, definitely ask for Jeff as your driver! I did my tandem ride with Steve. He was awesome! Very experienced and very patiently explained everything I could expect. He made certain that I was well informed and comfortable. He repeatedly asked if I had any questions, which I did not because he thoroughly covered all of the necessary information. I would highly recommend Skydive Orange to anyone - experienced or first timer and I would rate Steve 10 out of 10! Great experience! See more..

In the Presidents Room you will enjoy artifacts of Madison, Jefferson, Monroe and Z. Taylor. The Black History Room has 3 themes (Forgotten Patriots, Atlantic Slave Trade and Post-Emancipation). The biggest surprise for nearly every visitor is the large Hall of Agriculture and Transportation. In this large wing sits a 1730's house originally built for Gov. I just noticed this winery on the wine map. We stopped by and we're pleasantly surprised at how good the wine is for such a new winery. I ended up buying the Rose and the Norton. The Rose was very strawberry tasting. The Norton had the power of a Norton. The Cab franc was smooth but lighter on the pepper. Very excited about what this winery will offer in the future. 11. 4.0 Woodbrook Farm Vineyard & Tasting Room (1 review)
    - New winery (Just opened)
    Wednesday: Wine Tours & Tastings
Woodbrook Farm Vineyard & Tasting Room image
The tasting room was converted from a horse stables. They have a history with horse racing and some of the wines are named after famous horses. I went with the red flight. First cab franc had a short finish without the pepper. The second cab franc (2021) had more smoothness in the muddle, short finish and still no pepper. The Got Everything (named after a horse) is in interesting blend. Starts with more of a cab sauv flavor and then the petit verdot flavor hits. Now the petit verdot is not all pv. There is a little tannat and cab franc in there. It smooths it out and was the best of the tasting. The pourer were owners and they were very friendly and welcoming . It was a nice visit. See more..
