I had gotten a x-mass gift for an introductory flight. Due to Covid-19 I wasn't able to use it until last Saturday. I had never been in a helicopter before. we spent 1/2 hour pre-flight going over controls and safety related things. We followed the Merrimack river to Lowell. I had the controls turning and heading back to the airport ( with help of course ) upon returning we did some maneuvers while hovering. I don't know the cost but it was worth it. The only bad part was it was over too soon! I would recommend it to anyone who likes to fly. We also flew with the doors off. See more..

    Eagle East Aviation image
We wanted to see some of the Fall foliage and see the New England coastline from the air. Tim Campbell, owner of Eagle East Aviation had just the program for us. His Cessna Skyhawks each carry 3 passengers with each fitted with headphones and seated by a window. Tim is a seasoned flight instructor and aerial photographer. I was impressed with Tim's dedication to our comfort and safety. His constant communication with Air Traffic Control and local airport traffic centers were reassuring and we were free to enjoy the scenery and awesome beauty of the area. Our experience was scheduled several weeks before we arrived from WA State. The weather was perfect ! The cost of our 90 minute flight was about what we budgeted for a family dinner at a local restaurant this week. This is something we will do again when we get back to the Merrimack Valley. Thank you, Tim for an experience we'll savor forever. See more..
