   The Monticello Railway Museum is one of the best places to visit in Illinois period. Their collection is amazing. The pieces are incredibly restored. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. The ride was the perfect length. My kids 5 & 7 loved it. We will be stopping frequently now. We really wish we’d visited sooner. The gift shop is also very nice in the old depot. The ride will quickly take you back to a time that was a much easier pace and things weren’t so hectic. I give this 5 stars. If you don’t love it you may just be impossible to please. See more..

   I had several memorial pieces (for myself and family members) made by Jim using my husband's ashes this week. I am so appreciative for the whole process. Jim takes a personal approach and I appreciate that, because you feel very vulnerable leaving precious ashes with someone you've just met. He asks for pictures of the loved one, and he learns all about them when he talks to you beforehand. While he's creating the pieces, he listens to their favorite music and talks to them.
