   Spent 2-3 hours Movie Theaters
   Our first opera. Wow. Just Wow. Simulcast from the NY Metrpolitan Opera, and large as life on the theater screen. Even in our theater, people were clapping. Amazing to be part of a world-wide audience. Beautiful singing. I can still hear the stunning music a day later. We plan to do this again and again. Next year's season looks fantastic too.    The Patuxent River Naval Air Museum (PRNAM) is a member-supported, privately-funded museum preserving the history and heritage of Naval Aviation and associated technology. Our mission is to “Preserve, Educate, Inspire” by presenting the continuing story of Naval Aviation with a focus on Research, Development, Testing, and Evaluation (RDT&E) at Naval Air Station Patuxent River. Our Vision is to be a highly valued community resource providing both educational and tourism benefits to the Southern Maryland area for generations. Located just outside Gate 1 of Naval Air Station Patuxent River, the PRNAM is operated by the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum Association, Inc., a 501(C)3 non-profit charitable organization. First opened in 1978, the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum now spans three buildings and also includes a Flight Line consisting of one-of-a-kind aircraft and aircraft configurations unique to the Naval Test Center.    One of the biggest misnomers is that the Chesapeake Bay Beaches are largely inaccessible to the public. Here is public access beach that is almost as good as traveling the extra 1.5 hours to the ocean. True! Just south of PAX River NAS is county beach with almost of mile of white sand, expansive views and great swimming. Follow the main road towards Pt Lookout and look for the County Beach sign on the left. $10 for out-of-county cars but it's worth the price for solitude and relaxation. Eagles soar overhead as the boats sail by. I rate this beach higher than Flagg Pond even though its an extra half hour drive south from the DC area. See more..

   This theater is very comfortable and cozy. The reclining seats were a nice touch, it made watching a movie feel very comfortable. This movie theater has a bar, which was nice to enjoy a cocktail while watching a movie. However, the drink prices were a little expensive, but what do you expect when you are at a movie theater! The theater itself was small, which could be a positive or a negative, depending on the situation. We had a group of around 6 people and we were the only ones in the theater, which was great. The bartender was slow and did not know how to make drinks without looking at the bar card. The popcorn was ok, not too hot but we were able to add our own butter which made it flavorful.
