I knew we were coming in to cruise 1st Street for the 4th of July, and Curt booked us 4 bikes - making sure he knew our heights to get the right sizes of the bikes saved for us. When we checked in, he measured and readjusted our seats, made sure to fill all tires, and helped us out with two locks and baskets - things we hadn’t even thought of but we needed! The kids took their grandparents on a walk here over thanksgiving break. They had the best time looking at the wildlife. Birds, snakes (little green one) and raccoons. The morning they saw raccoons it was 9:45ish and had rained all night. Fog was lifting when they started the walk. Check out the pic. Stopped in for a drink on a Friday night and was greeted right away by the bartender, almost too quickly, as I panic ordered a drink instead of looking at their specialty cocktail menu, which had a lot of fun looking beverages on there. The marg I ordered was tasty though, on the smaller side, but very tequila forward, so at least it wasn't for not. What made this place special was the tiki-esque decor, the bowl of liquor I saw served to a table behind us and the badass octopus mural on the side of the building, geniusly lit up by black lights so it looked like it glowed in the dark.
