If you travel a lot, and I have, you know a guide can make all the difference. Alaska is so beautiful and so different that it is a must-see. But it so big that you need some help to make the best use of your time. I'm glad my wife and I decided on letting Adventure Alaska help us have the 'adventure' of a lifetime. We got to visit the museum in April between seasons, glad the curator was nice enough to make time for us, and glad we went to see the site. It was great to get a look into this era of Alaska. The museum can seem small at first glance but it is several buildings and each one is full of artifacts that offer a glimpse of a (nearly) forgotten time.
