  1. 5.0 C&O Bicycle (1 review)
    - Bike Shop that gets you back on the trail
    Gear Rentals
The bike shop is literally next to the trail at the western end of Hancock. Friendly staff helped us get some new spokes (for 3 bikes!) that they then installed first thing the next day. We would have been completely stuck without their help. See more..

This place has a little bit of everything. I travel through here a few times a year and it is a must-stop. The smell is overwhelming in the most delicious way when you walk in. First and foremost this place is a bakery, with pies, cookies, bread, donuts, and other sugary treats. They also sell home decor for all seasons and Christmas is all year round. They have McCutchins branded canned items and other specialty jams and jelly canned goods. They have several well-known Maryland branded products and local wines from WV, VA, and MD. As it is described as a specialty store don't expect the best prices, but it's a nice place to stop and find some unique finds. Also side note their bathrooms are really nice and I highly recommend if you need to stop in Hancock, this is your best option. See more..

Really nice people that work here, the shop has added a lot more inventory since the last time I was there. They had tons of bikes and apparel and the apparel wasn't too expensive as most places can be. The first time I was in here was a few years ago and dad and I rented a tandem which it wasn't in the greatest shape and then when we were in the store they mostly had apparel and a few bikes. Now, there's a good many of both and the store is very well organized. See more..

  7. 3.0 Hancock Antique Mall (21 reviews)
    - A bit deceiving when they call it an "antique mall"
    Spent 1-2 hours Antique Shops
    Hancock Antique Mall image
This is named an Antique Mall and it is big but when you walk around you'll see a few isles of antiques and the rest is flea market finds and food. We were looking specifically for antiques so this was a bit disappointing. But the bbq restaurant which is located in the building was having a 4th birthday celebration and they were giving out free samples of their food. The pulled pork and the ham and bean soup were delicious. If I ever came back here I would def. eat here. Btw, unless you need more dust collectors in your house don't bother visiting the craft store next door. To me it was all junk. (just my opinion) See more..
