What a once in a lifetime experience! Not many can say they have dug for dinosaurs and were the first to touch fossils millions years old. Shana and Shane were incredible and knowledgeable guides. They provided local Glendive tips and lent a high-clearance vehicle to get to the dig site. All tools were provided and I love how they taught folks what to look for, eventually building up one's identification skills. Definitely an annual repeater! See more..

The visitor center and the park are almost two different experiences. The displays of the various fossils are extremely well done, especially for a state park. If you are a fossil/dinosaur person, this is a great stop. The small gift shop offers a nice selection of souvenirs too. Getting through Glendive to and from the park can be a struggle as it seems they skimped on road signs a bit. We definitely used our navigation app. See more..

Was shocked when we wandered in, not by the T-rex skeleton but by the fact that this is a full music store in the middle of nowhere (Glendive, sorry). This could be a shop in any 'cool' neighborhood of Minneapolis. The instruments ranged from average all the way to professional quality. The shop is quite large for an independent music shop. Each type of instruments were arranged; drums, guitars, basses etc. The man working there obviously loved music. And was knowledgeable about current performers that had visited or are scheduled to visit town to do shows. They also have a selection of rock tee shirts and dinosaur toys. See more..

As of New Years Eve 2022 the Bell Street bridge has been lit at night in changing colors that people can request in memory of or in honor of some person or occasion. Love Like Justice Foundation funded lighting the bridge in memory of justice Hagen who died in a car accident June 25, 2020. Her parents set up the foundation and Love Like Justice merchandise sales to pay for the $100,000 project. For $100 you can pick the colors of the bridge for one night and it will also be acknowledged on zLove Like Justice Facebook page. It remains a walking biking bridge and the hub of walking trails.
