-Another great experience!
Spent 1-2 hours Spas
We were able to get an appointment on December 30 -- a very busy time of year -- but they squeezed us in. Due to traffic we were nearly 30 minutes late but the ladies were gracious and kind. Highlights look great, and we appreciated the kind and friendly stylists yet again. Highly recommended. See more..

-Amazing couple massage
Spas
If you are interested in a Thai deep tissue massage, this is an excellent location. The Thai massage is not a fluff and buff massage. They do other types of massage with hot stones and oil, but that is not the massage we received. We specified a Thai massage. If you really enjoy deep tissue massage with stretching, this is the place for you. My wife and I had a phenomenal 90 minute couples massage. See more..

- 5.0 Providence Players of Fairfax (1 review)
-Just saw an OUTSTANDING production of Agatha Christie's play: "And Then There Were None"
Thursday: 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Theaters
The Providence Players of Fairfax is a terrific community theater group performing in residence at the James Lee Community Center in Falls Church, VA. They are now in their 22nd season and are an all-volunteer, non-profit company. They perform Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Just two nights ago, we went for the first time and saw an outstanding production of Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None". The theater itself is extremely comfortable and sets, costumes, sound and acting were all A+! A bonus is that tickets we were able to easily order our tickets online (without paying an additional service charge!) We were also able to see which seats had already been sold and which seats were still available. For those who don't like to order 'online' the box office is not staffed except during performances. The box office at the James Lee Center opens 45 minutes before each performance and remains open through intermission; but it is not open at any other time since the Providence Players is an ALL volunteer organization! Parking is free and readily available as the theater is located in the large and modern James Lee Community Center. See more..

- 4.0 The State Theatre (107 reviews)
-Wonderful Venue
Bars & Clubs • Theatre & Performances
Built in 1936, The State Theatre operated as a popular movie until the late 1980's. The first film shown was Thanks A Million starring Dick Powell and on November 27, 1988 the State closed its doors after a final showing of Die Hard starring Bruce Willis. The first theatre on the East Coast to be centrally air-conditioned, the State was the flagship of the family-owned Neighborhood Theatres chain which also operated, among others, the Glebe (now a Duron paint store), the Buckingham (now a Post Office) and the Jefferson (now a Chile's restaurant). A multi-million dollar restoration in the late 1990's turned it into the Washington Metro area's favorite new venue for live music and private events. The full theatrical stage is original, as are the 200 balcony seats and both lobbies. The theatre seats on the main floor were removed to allow for the re-design of the auditorium which now accommodates full service dining, standing and dancing areas and two full service bars. The restoration also added a full service restaurant for dining and catering private events. See more..

- 4.0 Jefferson District Golf Course (3 reviews)
-excellent mini golf course
Spent 2-3 hours Golf Courses
This is one of the best mini golf courses in the area. It's fun, reasonably challenging, and attractive. I haven't tried the actual golf course or other features of the park, but I've been to the mini golf course many times and always enjoyed it. And parking is close and ample. (Surprise: try hitting the ball into the water on 14. That's usually good for a 1 or a short 2.) See more..

- 3.5 Falls Church Antique Center (6 reviews)
-Wheelchair Friendly from Back Parking Lot
Antique Shops
The front entrance has a step up but if you access from the back parking lot you will find a ramp into the shop. It is difficult to reach the ramp only because there is no designated space for entry (such as a white striped access area in the parking lot). So you will need to maneuver between vehicles to reach the ramp. The parking lot entrance is off of North Maple Avenue. Once inside the shop, I found it about 40 percent accessible but the staff is willing to help you reach items except for those you can't see on the second floor. Also, take care as there are some steps on the first floor as well. See more..
- 3.5 Busybees (4 reviews)
-Nice indoor play area
Spent 1-2 hours Game & Entertainment Centers
Nice little play area to spend couple of hours. Though the admission is pricey ($15 for unlimited visits in the same day) there are some nice additions like balloon pit and transparent bouncy. Before visiting, read several reviews in Google complaining about staff not being attentive on the play area or about cleanliness. What we saw was completely different. Staff were managing it well even with crowd from birthday parties. They rushed out to crying kids when their parents were not around. They were regularly using a spray to disinfect the surfaces. Overall recommend this place for toddlers' fun time See more..
