- 5.0 Corsicana Opry and Event Center (4 reviews)
-History, Fun and Spirits
Spent < 1 hour Theaters
The Corsicana Opry is a great place to visit any time but if you can come for a show, you are guaranteed some good old fashioned entertainment. The building is a wonder. A cherry red brick building with 30,000 square feet is magical inside. Carolyn McCombs, the owner, is always glad to give tours of the building and loves to take guests to the basement where eight ghosts have been documented. The music shows are good clean family fun and the new dance floor makes it hard to stay in your seat. Corsicana has a well restored downtown and the Opry is the crown jewel. See more..

-Fishing on Lake Whitney
Fishing Charters & Tours
We had an awesome time fishing when I visited my daughter for her birthday down in Texas. The first day we booked a full day of fishing, but there were high winds and after two hours of fighting the winds, our guides offered to reschedule our trip. We were soaked and freezing, so we agreed. Two days later, it was warm and calm and they only had an afternoon trip available, but it went very well. They knew where to find the fish, they helped us catch the fish and they made sure we had a good time. They filleted and bagged the fish for us, and once home, we enjoyed eating our catch. We had plenty of fish to freeze for later. I look forward to doing this again the next time I visit my daughter. See more..

-Outstanding Service!
Fishing Charters & Tours
Just had an outstanding fishing trip with J-Rods Guide Service. The three of us limited out on large white bass and caught four keeper size hybrid stripers as well plus lost a huge largemouth. It's always great to get this level of fishing, but the whole trip was outstanding. Just couldn't ask for more. See more..

- 5.0 Corsicana Palace Theatre (1 review)
-Great small venue to see a concert.
Theaters
Great venue to watch a show. We went to see Asleep at the Wheel in this venue and it was wonderful. The venue was extremely neat and clean and the staff was most friendly. The seating was nice with plenty of leg room. We sat in the upper balcony and was able to clearly see the stage and the sound system was great. This is possibly the best small venue we have seen a concert in. See more..

-Tucked Away - but worth the hunt!
Antique Shops
We saw the billboard but couldn't figure out where it was, finally pulled into the parking lot and saw the door tucked into the corner of the building. Loved it! Bought a great small table and then went back another time and bought some handmade soap, room spray and a few other antique-ish items for the house. Prices were very fair, owner was super friendly and the selection was very nice See more..

My family and I love going here! Great place to see exactly how the pioneers lived. It's very well maintained, and staffed with an excellent docent.
